Abstract Submission Period

English Presentation Award

The International Committee of Japanese Society for Spine Surgery and Related Research (JSSR) has established an "English Presentation Session" at the congress since 2012. This yearʼs call for abstracts for the "English Presentation Session" will recognize the best English presentations given by researchers. Please note the following information when applying for the English Presentation Award.

• Candidates for the English Presentation Award must be the first author of the abstract submitted for the JSSR 2025 "English Presentation Session".
• Winners will be selected based on the quality of their abstract, the quality of their presentation, and their ability of discussion.
• Winners will be announced during JSSR 2025 and will be awarded JPY 50,000 for the Gold Award.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

All abstracts must be submitted via the online abstract submission system.
Submitted abstracts must be prepared in accordance with the following instructions.

• Abstracts must be written in English.
• Select "Yes" to the question "Application for English Presentation Award".
• The title of the abstract is limited to 140 characters.
• Abstracts may include charts and graphics.

  - Without charts or graphics, the text of the abstract is limited to 1,600 characters.

  - With charts or graphics, the text of the abstract is limited to 1,000 characters.

• Prepare a summary of the abstract for the program book. (Up to 15 words, not including the title of the abstract).

Disclosure of Conflict of Interest（COI）

To ensure transparency of the clinical research partnerships between industry and academia, and in JSSR 2025 presentations, all presenters are expected to disclose any "conflict of interest" (COI) at JSSR 2025. All COI matters that have occurred within three years of the abstract submission and up to the time of the presentation must be disclosed.

Abstract Submission

All abstracts must be submitted via the following online abstract submission system.

• New Submission
• Confirmation / Modify

• Please check whether your abstract has correctly been submitted by clicking on the "Confirmation/Modify" button using your abstract Submission ID and password.
• You can confirm and correct your abstract at any time until the submission deadline with your abstract Submission ID and password. Please make sure you keep the submission number and password.
• A confirmation email will be sent to your contact email address immediately after registration is complete. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check that you have entered your contact email address correctly.
• If you do not receive the confirmation email within 24 hours, please contact the secretariat (E-mail：jssr2025-abs@c.inter-plan.co.jp).

Notification of Acceptance/Rejection

The President of JSSR 2025 will consider the abstract category preferences of authors but reserves the right to assign abstract categories and to make final abstract acceptance/rejection decisions.
